Personalized Learning Support for Students Who Learn Differently
Every child learns in their own way. Whether your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, autism, 2e, or another learning difference - or you're simply noticing they need a different approach - we're here to help them build skills, confidence, and long-term success.
Every student begins with a complimentary assessment led by founder Jeanie Martin, MSW who develops a personalized learning plan based on your child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.

FAQs
-
No. Many students benefit from individualized academic support without having a formal diagnosis. If your child is struggling in school, we'll begin by identifying their strengths, learning style, and areas of need through our complimentary assessment.
Every assessment is led by Jeanie Martin, MSW who takes time to understand your concerns and develop a personalized learning plan based on your child's unique needs. If, during that process, she believes additional educational or psychological evaluation may be beneficial, she'll discuss those recommendations with you and help you understand the next steps.

Every student begins with Jeanie through the assessment and learning plan process.
Depending on your child's goals and learning needs, ongoing instruction may be provided by Jeanie or by another carefully selected member of the Exceptional Cognitions educational team. Every tutor is personally chosen, trained, and supported to provide the same individualized approach that has guided Exceptional Cognitions from the beginning.
If we believe additional educational or psychological evaluation may be beneficial, we'll discuss those recommendations with you.
-
Absolutely. If your child has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a Section 504 Plan, Jeanie can review those documents as part of developing your child's personalized learning plan. An addition service we offer is to be an advocate in the annual review process.
Our goal is to complement the support your child receives at school while helping them build confidence and independence.

You don't have to figure that out before contacting us.
Many families begin with questions rather than answers. Whether your child needs academic tutoring, test prep, or more specialized services, we'll help determine the best path during your complimentary assessment.
Our goal isn't to fit students into a program. It's to build the right plan for each individual learner.
